EKAM Little Rock made 142 PBJ sandwiches to donate to Our House and Salvation Army centers on July 8th 2023.
Little Rock EYAs raised funds of $140 by selling Cookies, Brownies, Lemonade and Mango Lassi at the Friends of India Mother's Day event!
Little Rock Tornado Relief -
Little Rock EKAM EYAs and parents collected and donated non-perishable food items, clothes, baby food and baby supplies, water, towels, and socks to the Little Rock city at the Murray Fire Station to be donated to those impacted by the deadly EF3 Tornadoes occurred on March 31st 2023.
Little Rock EKAM EYAs and parents sponsored a total of 90 medical kits ($1350) to be donated to kids and adults with cerebral palsy and spinal cord injuries at Hope4Spandana. Each kit lasts a month for each patient.
EKAM LR collaborated with Friends of India organization in Little Rock and did Bake and Art sale at Highland Valley Church. Raised over $200 from bake sale and over $100 from art sale.
EKAM Little Rock EYA Khushi Patil conducted a product drive to collect items for supporting Little Rock Central High School's Syrian Emergency Task Force.

Little Rock EYA parents Neelima Aravind and Jyothi Kalyan sponsored text books for 10 sets of text books for 6, 7, and 8th grade kids at St. Meesum Mission High School. by donating $300.
EYA Shubhi & her mom bought groceries, cooked & served breakfast items to the battered women shelter at Salvation Army on 1/8/2023
EKAM Little Rock EYAs performed their first "Songs For The Soul" performances at local Nursing Homes! Led by EYA Disha Ram.
EKAM Little Rock EYAs helped organize breakfast seva at OurHouse shelter on 12/18/2022, prepared and served 100 breakfast bags at the OurHouse shelter.
EYAs also collected and donated clothes to local organizations. 191 clothes were donated to Little Rock Compassion Center, 175 to Darcus House and 52 clothes to Missionaries of Charity on 12/19/2022. They also collected and donated 267 clothes to Darcus House and Salvation Army on 12/22/2022.

EKAM Little Rock organized a book drive across multiple schools in Little Rock and collected over 615 books for the AR Kids Read holiday giveaway. We still have more books to donate again soon!

EKAM Little Rock EYC, Ananya Uddanti raised funds on her online Etsy store selling handmade jewelry and sponsored for the education of two girls in Nuzvid, Andhra Pradesh, India through the collaboration of EKAM USA and UpliftAChild organizations. She loves talking to them on video calls and built a relationship with them.
EKAM Little Rock EYAs, Anya Rao and Diya Rao sponsored for the education of four boys in Tuni, Andhra Pradesh India through the collaboration of EKAM USA and Uplift A Child organizations. Anya used the money she raised from her baking project during COVID times (baked cakes and macarons and sold them in community) to sponsor these kids' education.
EKAM Little Rock EYAs and parents participated in a cookout at Little Rock Compassion Center on Nov 20th to cook and serve food for 150 people.
EKAM Little Rock EYAs made 100 breakfast (Peanut butter jelly sandwiches, fruit and a homemade dessert with a handwritten card) bags in coordination with Sai Center and served breakfast at OurHouse shelter.
EKAM Little Rock EYAs made peanut butter sandwiches in coordination with Sai Center to be distributed for homeless living at OurHouse shelter.
EKAM Little Rock EYAs are organizing a book drive for ARKidsRead. Please see the flyers for more details.
EKAM USA, Little Rock Chapter sponsored 27 prosthetic limbs ($1620) to those in need in the remote areas of Asifabad Dist and Nellore of Andhra Pradesh and also in Tamilnadu to help them establish livelihood and live a normal life style.
A total of 150 limbs were donated by all the chapters of EKAM USA.
