Ashraya Ashram, a homeless shelter for the destitute near Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, urgently needs your help. It offers food and shelter to the homeless, intellectually impaired or disabled without any family, rescued by the Police from bus and train stations, etc. Despite the care provided by a local volunteer, the living conditions are very poor as the current shelter is made from fragile PVC sheets and frequently floods during rains. The volunteers now feed these victims of fate, help them with their daily activities depending on their physical limitations and provide selfless care but unfortunately cannot do more due to their limited resources.

To address these critical needs, EKAM USA and Hope for Spandana are constructing a new shelter and four toilets. Your donation of any amount will help transform the lives of these individuals and provide them with a permanent shelter against the elements of nature. Together, we can create a lasting impact and offer hope to those who need it most.
