Ekam USA's mission is to help those in need. This holiday season we want to raise money for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, so no one is without food during Christmas and New Years.

Our Ekam Youth Ambassadors are organizing this fundraiser.

The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that solicits, procures, inventories and warehouses donated food and other products. The food collected is then distributed to many places like pantries, meal sites, homes, shelters, and soup kitchens in our community to help those in need.

The Food Bank’s objectives are to:

1. Reduce the food insecurity rate in Louisiana because our state is currently ranked number 1 in the United States.

2. Feed the hungry in Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes by providing food and educational outreach.

The Greater American Food Bank has been able to serve the hungry in 11 parish service areas for 35 years because of community support. They have been able to distribute 13.6 million meals throughout the community as well as 4.9 million pounds at pandemic response mobiles in 2020. To help the Food Bank continue to make there positive impact on our community please donate, so that no one goes hungry during Christmas and New Years.
