I am an Allergy Immunologist in Detroit, Michigan. I feel very happy and also proud to be the classmate of Dr.Sai and Dr. Neelima at Gandhi Medical College. After graduating I came to the USA and did my Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University, followed by Fellowship in Allergy Immunology.

I always remember Dr.Sai as a selfless person, different from the rest of us and her passion for social service and volunteering since college days led to starting the Ekam Foundation in 2009. I was inspired and got involved with Ekam USA when Dr.Sai visited Detroit in march 2019. It was during the meeting when Dr.Sai spoke about EKAM purpose and mission and really came to know how selflessly She has been working for the underprivileged. During the visit my kids met with Dr.Sai and her encouragement for the youth to get involved in service led to starting a local Detroit chapter. The goal was to help children and mothers in India as well as support local needy kids/mothers by raising funds and doing local service projects.
