Through a virtual 5K, Ekam Shreveport raised funds to supply N95 masks to hospitals in the Sivagangai District in Tamil Nadu, India. Participants in the 5K were asked to walk or run 3.1 miles and an entry fee was required for each participant. These fees funded the protective equipment for the Sivagangai District hospitals.

Our chapter set a goal to raise $1,533 to supply 300 masks to the hospitals in this district. Through the virtual 5K, we met 101% of our goal and raised $1,539.
