I am a homemaker in Boston, MA. Dr. Nagasree Chakka introduced Almina to the EKAM USA Boston chapter during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, there was a need for PPE and she began making face masks and scrubs caps with her family. Since then, Almina has been a volunteer in the Boston chapter. For the last five years, Almina has also been a volunteer at a community faith group in Boston. At the faith group, Almina has been a Pre-K teacher and is currently the Head of Parent Involvement (HOPI). Almina holds a B.Sc. in Management Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
