Support Turkey Earthquake Relief

Help EkamUSA fundraise to support efforts after the Earthquake that hit Turkey organized by

Ekam Youth Ambassador(EYA)  -  Nitya Kondaparthi

On February 6th, 2023, a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria, which killed over 40,000 people and annihilated towns, homes, and roads among other infrastructure. Hundreds of thousands are currently displaced across a region already plagued by the ongoing turmoil of the nearly 12-year war in Syria, and tens of thousands are injured, leaving communities in desperate need of donations and support.

In Turkey, the earthquake has gravely dealt damage to at least 10 provinces, including Adana, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaras, Malatya, and Sanliurfa. In these provinces, buildings, bridges, and roads have been turned to rubble, and as of now, a 3-month state of emergency has been announced by the Turkish government.

The cities of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama, and Idlib, which are located in Syria, have also taken a brutal hit. Many, who already relied on humanitarian aid in Aleppo and other cities in Syria because of the Syrian Civil War, are having trouble receiving food, shelter, and assistance. This is mainly because more than ever, more people need help, however, there is simply not enough to go around, whether that be money, food, water, or proper aid.

This is where you come in. EkamUSA is calling for action and wants to donate money. Your donation, along with others, will make a meaningful difference while showing our support to Syria and Turkey. No donation is too small. Donate at EkamUSA today. 100% of the donations go towards the cause.
